WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CALL THE CRISIS LINE?
You will speak to a mental health professional who will respond attentively and compassionately to your needs. We will ask you questions about your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and make recommendations for care. The information you provide is confidential.
ARE CALLS RECORDED ON THE CRISIS LINE?
All calls are recorded for the purpose of coaching our staff to meet our high-quality standards. Recordings are deleted after a 30-day period.
WHAT IS A MOBILE OUTREACH?
A mobile outreach is offered on crisis calls where callers would benefit from a higher level of intervention. Master level mental health professionals travel to the caller’s residence or a local agency to meet face to face and complete a crisis assessment for the purpose of making recommendations for care. Follow-up services are available to help facilitate callers’ connection to needed services.
